In am very pleased with this bed. I am using it with a boxspring foundation and a mattress. I had concerns that it might not be sturdy enough for both, but the bed is very solid. The height might be high for some, but I find it to be extremely stylish as I have 7'6" headboard that I paired it with. I painted it to match my existing antique white bedroom furniture and it looks fabulous, but the finish that it came in was very nice if you need a dark wood frame.

Easy to follow instructions, not a ton of parts, solid construction, affordable!
